Few learn to control it. Those who do are know as Wielders. They protect this world from the Shadow Walkers, creatures of darkness who will stop at nothing to turn the entire world to shadows. Only Wielders stand against them.

Wielders used to make up three-fourths of the world's population. But then, about twenty-five years ago, they were nearly wiped off the earth in the Great War. Most Wielder types, like fire, water, plant, and wind, recovered. Only 10 Earth Wielder remain, includeing my friend Archer. Light Wielders were completely anialated. Then theres me, Jasmine Tempest. I am the only Storm Wielder left on the earth.
